We always sun-dried our coffee beans but I know many bigger plantations in Hawaii that machine dry their beans.  Can you taste a difference?Continue

As a farmer I am aware of my product but I am curious of what others think about Ka'u Coffee. How does it compare to others in the industry?

JN Coffee Farms specializes in 100% Ka'u Coffee. Ka'u is the agricultural district just south of Kona. This is a family ran coffee farm that takes pride in the quality of our coffee. Our select harvest style consists of only hand picking only the ripest cherries. The pulping process is done the day of harvest by wet pulping methods. The beans are then sun dried in patio racks and are rotated by hand. With the exception of a few seasonal coffee pickers, every step up until roasting is competely done by owners Leo, Hermie, and Joann Norberte. Our beans are hulled, graded, polished then roasted by experienced roasters all over the world.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Jamaica, UK, Spain
About Me:
We have 25 acres of coffee farm land that was leased to former sugar cane workers such as myself. It was a program presented to employees when the sugar cane plantation closed in the late 90s. This once sugar cane filled land is now Ka'u coffee region.
About My Company:
We strive to provide high grade quality coffee at an affordable price. Ka'u Coffee are amongst the elite proving so by winning the top honor Nationally (including Kona Coffee) and in the top 10 worldwide 4 years straight. This new coffee origin of Hawaii is described to be "like how Kona coffee used to be".
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
Educating people that Kona is not the only region in Hawaii that has amazing coffee.
