Cross-country bicycle traveler seeks help of tattooed barista community

I'm trying to put together a bicycle trip from Georgia to Portland. So far, a few shop owners and industry big wigs have volunteered their help and I'm very grateful for it. However, I really want to meet some cool baristas along the way and very few have spoke up.

I figured this group is probably comprised of some like minded baristas. Is there anyone here who would be willing to put me up on their couch for a night or two while I ride across the states? What about baristas who do a lot of cycling?

I want to meet some cool folks along the way.

Yeah, that sounds great! A lot of the supportive feedback I've gotten has come from the West Coast. So, you're in good company. If I'm going to make this thing work out without a hitch, I'm going to need people from all around, too.

But I will definitely hit you up when I'm in that neck of the woods.
i'm in nashville, tn. there are some bike enthusiasts at the shop i work at, bongo java. i can check with my roommates about lending out our counch for a night or 2, however my house is a bit away from all the cool parts of the city. i'm sure if you came someone at the shop would be willing to take you in, or at least find someone.
Dudarino.

If you end up farther north at all, there will definitely be a couch or bed or similar piece of furniture at your disposal here in Holland, MI.

Rock.
Yeah man, that's stellar. I'm in good downtown ol' Portlandia and if you need a place here in town, my couch is all yours. And it's all bicycles out here (in my general vicinity anyway) so you'll feel right at home.
Hey if you make it anywhere near Reno you should definitely come by The Hub! We're a bike-themed coffee shop that specializes in educating the average Renoite in how delicious coffee can really be. We're neighbors with Reno's gnarliest and hardest-riding bike courier's, so there's no shortage of potential friends with empty couches that would be down to support a cyclist on a tour of America.
