We are in the process of setting up a cafe/espresso bar and I really want a black coffee card / loyalty card / reward card. Obviously a stamp is impossible on a black card so I am trying to find a punch in the shape of a coffee cup or something but have been unsuccessful so far. Any ideas where to go...

Thank you soooo much!

I've seen this, I think, at esspressoparts.com. What about your point of sale system? We're installing a system that lets us have gift and loyalty cards processed by us (within the computer system) and not a service. We have to buy mag stripe cards, which can be recycled for value and loyalty points.
we have a index card holder on the counter...the customer when they order retrive thier own card ,and the barista enters the info and replaces the card when we get the time after the line is down. this helps the customer that forgets card ,looses card, or whatever and it eliminates the barista from remembering all the customers first and last name afterall we have many customers and we always can not remember everyones name
Espresso Supply has a punch shaped like a cup-about $35.00 USD
As a graphic designer, I create several different punch cards depending upon the season, holiday etc. We've used the stamps from Espresso Parts, sharpie pen signature mark, and so forth. How about back of the card? - typically the printing is one sided so you could make your mark there. Also, it doesn't have to be a coffee punch, mix it up and get a few. I have 2 location and use different stamps although customer can use at either of course. I like to use it as an indicator as it tells me if I have customers going to both places and how often. Kind of behind the scene fun. You could require employee shift change punch etc. - just some thoughts.
I've have opened a coffee house and currently operate a kiosk. I WISH I NEVER STARTED THE COFFEE CARD!. Once you start, it's really hard to quit the program. Although it doesn't seem costly-it is! I have built my business and customers loyalty on great service and serving great products. You shouldn't need a card.
Loyalty cards almost always turn out to be an easy margin giveaway. Better to have people loyal through a better offer. We do in store, real time customer feedback using the customers own mobile phone. It means you get instant scoring and feedback so can correct any problem before the customer defects. Plus its neat and and a great way to engage customers by asking them WHAT they want and WHAT they want to see. Check www.opiniator.com - and it will be WAY cheaper than a punch card system.
We have a punch card, some customers like the idea, others I reward w/o using the card, simply noting that they come in all the time and I appreciate their business. On the other hand customers will want to "combine cards" saying they have ten punches but on two or more cards, which is not the way the program should work.
