I was lucky enough to have had the K30 all summer. There was definitely clumping, which was what lead to the retrofit. Totally fabulous otherwise: minutely configurable, sexy beast, and two grinders in the counter space of one. Serena will be the ultimate judge, of course. :)

Serena,
We'll hook you up with the naked pf, ...curious if you have run beans through the K30, is there no clumping??

Hey everyone,

Joey has made a jig on a milling machine to make portafilters bottomless, if you need any done. ...Hey Greg, we just did a Rancilio which had the handle connect partway below the basket bottom (like your Cimbali, and it worked great!

Serena, let me know when you are coming, I have an LM triple basket with no home I would love to donate to your cause (yes I'm the dork who moved with a porta filter basket)...

Dr. Funk. you say apricot, I say orange marmalade but I think we are talking about the same flavor in the Boxcar, also a ton of caramel and cinnamon... this batch at 6 days out is superb...
