Sorry - I sent the Cartel coffee I had which was the Finca Villaure from Guatemala.

Yes, they received them and brewed them up. Eric is putting together an email of cupping notes from the coffees I sent them-I only sent coffee from Cartel, Press and Cortez. I sent the Cartel and Ron from Cortez gave me some samples as did Tom from Press. I also sent small samples of 2 of the Amauta coffees I have been cupping.

Our coffee arrived in Seattle at Slayer earlier this week. Excited to hear the results of their "Brew fest"! I heard Cartel, Cortez and Press all sent coffee. GO AZ 'SPRO!

Greg: There have been a bunch of latte art throwdowns over the last year. Press Coffee has hosted a bunch, and Cartel and Ground Control also held one each.

I am wondering of there is any interest in doing a monthly Latte Art Throwdown, several regions have these... either a rotating or static venue, 5-10 bucks to get in, winner take all, rules negotiable... anyone?

I've been in touch with Slayer Espresso, if any local roasters are interested in sending samples to Slayer contact me. I'd like to to get the coffee mailed by late this week or next week Monday... 1lb min.

Luis Till and I are working on getting an Arizona Espresso Sampler for the guys at Slayer Espresso Machines in Seattle. Be very cool to see our 'spro brewed by the most cutting edge machine in the world.
