Just looking for some feedback on different brands of travel mugs, tumblers, the like. Anything you can recommend. Custom branding/printing option is a must.

Thanks

I find Discount Mugs to be a good supplier. They carry stainless steel travel mugs too: http://www.discountmugs.com/
I've had mixed results from Discount Mugs. Some orders come in great, others are full of defects. We tried 3 different travel mugs from them and had a high reject rate in all cases - leaky lids, trim rings that fell off, falling apart, you name it... regardless of style ordered. The worst part was that the ones that had leaky lids dripped coffee on our customers shirts. DM was always happy to replace the mugs, but we got really tired of experimenting. We have a few customers that went through all 5 iterations (2 non-DM mugs that fared no better), we finally just gave them their money back. Really frustrating.

As far as I can tell, we'd be looking at quantities that are below what Whirley and others would do for us. At this point, we'd probably buy a case of the Bodum photo-insert mugs and go with a printed insert. This is a poor-margin option, but at least we'd have something that was worth putting our name on.

Looking forward to seeing other responses.
Maui Fusion travel mugs. I believe they are the #1 selling travel mug out there. They are a bit expensive, but they can fetch $15 retail and won't stay on the shelf for that price either.
