O CAFÉ is a Brazilian coffee shop in NYC opening in January 2011. We offer only the best coffee from Brazil and South America as well as a selection of fine chocolates. Located in Greenwich Village, O CAFÉ provides a cozy and sustainable design environment with furnishings made by communities in Brazil and Central America.  

Position: Barista/Customer service associate

Start date: Beginning January 2011

Time Requirements: Full time (35-42 hours/week)

O CAFÉ is seeking a full-time Barista to inaugurate the first O CAFÉ located in Greenwich Village, NYC.

O CAFÉ is looking for an enthusiastic and hard working person to join our small team, preparing coffee and tea orders as well as interacting with customers.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to O CAFÉ’s development and will possess the following:

Essential:

-Previous barista experience in the specialty coffee industry

-Genuine interest and enjoy working in a coffee shop environment

-Dedication, an awesome attitude and strong customer service skills

-Commitment to the highest standards of quality and workmanship

-Represent and serve as the face of O CAFÉ to customers

-Strong organizational skills
