I've been using a Nuova Simonelli Oscar for about a year now and just recently I've been having trouble getting the boiler to fill and begin heating up when I first turn the machine on. I have to depress the espresso dispensing button first, then cycle the machine on and off a number of times before the boiler starts to fill and heat up. Initially the add water indicator light goes on automatically but shuts off when I am able to cycle water through the group head. But if I leave the espresso dispenser depressed with the machine on the water will shut off after a few seconds and the add water indicator light goes back on. I then have to cycle the on off button to get more water to go through the group head. As I write this I have not been able to get the boiler to heat and fill properly.

Anyone have a similar issue? Do I need to adjust the pressurestat? It is a Sirai model.

Thanx.

Joe
