Mazzer Coffee Grinder-Doser Maintenance and Grease
Hi. My shops got two Mazzer grinders--one a Super Jolly and the other a Major Royal. I'm learning about general care (diassembly/cleaning/reassembly), but was curious about ..the grease substance on the grinder? if it's wise to really deep clean that area then reapply the grease??

The food grade lubricant should be applied sparingly to the outside threads of the upper burs carrier..... ever so slightly just enough to provide ease of use.
There is also a food grade anti-seize that some find useful, however they both work fine and yes, it is a good thing. Hope that short answer helps.
