Diedrich sells tubes that fit in a grease gun. Food grade and doesn't break down too fast.
Use graphite grease, it works wonderfuly, I've used it on my machines for years.
Nope, may be dirt cheap but 400f rating no good for roaster.

Dow Corning 111 Valve Lubricant and Sealant maintains a serviceable consistency from approximately -70° to 400°F (-57° to 204°C) and has NSF 51, NSF 61 approval and is acceptable as a release agent under FDA 21 CFR 175.300, when used in accordance with that regulation.

Dow 111 maybe?

Stuff is dirt cheap, that's all I know.
Thanks, guys!

Does anybody know where to get Probat Grease

We use a food grade graphite lube spray from the local Grainger.  It's about $15 a can.
