I had to share with you guys some things I have been trying with my yerb. I love mate so this may seem a little intense for some of you. I decided to use a double shot of Gaucho Fuer Te and six ounces of Organic Valley Eggnog!! OOOHHH MMMYY. I am in love. I happen to also be an eggnog nut; I gain five pounds of nogg weight every year during nogg season. I found that when you heat it, it actually seems to thin a bit so it is not as heavy as I expected; although if you have never tried Organic Valley's nogg I would challenge you to put it up against your standard and see what you think. My other reason for using it is because it seems just absurd to pervert my precious organic yerb that Guayaki works so hard to keep that way with something non-organic and high quality. I love the heavy nutmeg in OV's recipe. Also I used about an ounce of Monin Dark chocolate Sauce and about a half table spoon of ground Ghirardelli in six ounces whole milk and again gaucho it was a phenomenal marriage. Let me know what you think and if you have any recipes you enjoy. Oh and for you purists out there. I am a yerba and agave drinker true and true but felt I need to explore some different ideas to suck in all those on the fencers out there, ha, ha. P.S. No I don’t work for either of these companies; I am just in-love with their products and their mission.
