Hello Bx'ers.   I know there are other places to post this but I thought I would ask the professionals. I am running a Super Jolly / Silvia set up in my kitchen.   I usually buy store jugs of distilled water for my water consumption needs and this includes what I run through the Silvia for my espresso needs.

I know there are some opinions, that there are cons to doing this.  That espresso needs some minerals.  But I wanted to get your thoughts. Basically there are 3 types of water you can buy at a Grocery store. Distilled, Spring, and "Drinking"

I am willing to set up a filter system pretty soon, but as cost effectiveness goes it only cost me about $0.80 per gallon of water.

What are your thoughts?    If you're going to buy water, what one would you buy.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I would try them all what ever taste the best to me is what I would use. I think the all three choice would be ok for the inner workings of the machime so I would just decided which one I like the best.
