Anyone have any input or experience on a Futurete 3 group semi automatic espresso machine?

Going to look at a stainless steel one tomorrow.  $2000.00 only used for 4 monthes.  supposed to be in great shape.

Thank you!

Never heard of them.

Very little info on them on the web... which should tell you something. The price should tell you something too...

I'd pass. Stick with manufacturers that you've heard of, and that have good tech. support in your area.

If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

Agree with Brady, stay away. Seems they were made by a company in Florida incorportaed in 2002 now out of business.

So,

I went to look at it, and the guy, who was very nice, could not set it up for me to try...kind of a cheap looking model with a heating element on the top for espresso cups.

Mike and Brady hit the nail on the head.
My only input is a suggestion for La Marzocco. I know it might sound silly for me to say "double your budget", but if you were to do that, you could pick up a 2-3 group La Marzocco Linea all day long on Ebay. They're built like tanks, and La Marzocco has awesome customer service, plus there's probably a tech near you (but dont take my word for it.)
