Charlottesville VA coffee?

i will be visting charlottesville, virginia this weekend. wanted to know where the best coffee is and what other cool shops i should visit while im there. will be making a short stay in lexington va as well.....if awesome coffee is available i need to find it!

Go to Mudhouse. In a vibrant town with a lot of other options, it's won Best of Cville for 16 years straight. Coffee is from Lexington Coffee Roasters. The downtown pedestrian mall location is the flagship and from there you can stroll to shops/galleries/restaurants; locations/phone are at www.mudhouse.com. There's a coffeehouse in downtown Lexington called Lexington Coffee Shop that also uses Lexington Coffee Roasters. Even though the names are similar, they're two completely separate businesses. Lexington Roasters doesn't operate a retail location. Enjoy the trip!

thank you melissa for the recommendation....ill be sure to check it out. ive heard mudhouse is the place to be from a couple of different sources...and the downtown mall is where ill be spending most of my time!
