Thanksgiving week already? Wow that was fast...

So, what are your schedules for Black Friday? Anybody opening super early Friday morning (like after midnight) to try to take advantage of the traffic erm, I mean be there to help your customers stay awake all night? Anyone want to share experiences from prior years? Anyone expecting anything different this year given the ever-earlier start to the shopping day?

For the record, we're opening at normal time, 6:30, and closing at noon... and by we, I mean me :(. This has less to do with a particular strategy than it does that my brother is visiting and none of us want to work more than necessary, though we have seen lower sales numbers on this day in years past.

So what are you planning on doing?

Ugh black Friday. I open at 3 : / was going to be earlier, but there aren't that many good deals at the shops around us. Hot damn, so glad.

I know that some of our customers (coffee shops) are opening early to take advantage of them.  I really think it depends on how close you are to the stores that are offering specials.   On a side note. . . I wonder if any of the roasters will take advantage of Cyber Monday to offer coffee!
