Being that we have two medical schools, a law school and and business school located fairly close to us... we have an unusually high local and repeat crowd. Most of the students are pretty good, if they are hanging out and see that we get busy... they will pack up... leave their stuff and go for a walk... anyway...

We were recently updating/backing up our computers and I did a report on customer loyalty cards... sorted by most usage... who knew... turns out we have two customers... who spend respectively $12,000 and $8,000 a year..

These are non corporate ... private individuals... and yes that is $32 and $22 a day... every day... seven days a week... all year.

Stop in the morning, bagel/coffee... Lunch time, tuna salad sandwich... frappe... evening, salad, cheesecake... tea...

We of course take care of them... we might have to start washing their cars if they read this.

Just putting it out there for conversation.

It makes me so happy when I walk into one of the shops and I see strangers talking.

Amazing, just goes to show how 1 customer can mean so much...and to always try to know who your customers are.
That's awesome!!! Sounds like you guys have a great location, products, customer service and great customers. It's nice to know that you have some understanding customers too.
