what is your objective for this training? being a pro cupper, roaster, cafe owner, just wanna know more? IN other words what are you trying to get out of this cupping training?
if you are a business and want to learn kick ass cupping and overall QA give Trish a call. http://www.baristaexchange.com/profile/trishrothgebskeie
if you more want a deep tissue intro to cupping then lets talk more. we cup every day.
Boot consulting offered an advanced cupping course last year, which was specifically designed to help students prepare for the Q exam, so we had an intense and pretty exclusive focus on cupping and sensory analysis over a three day course. I helped design and teach the course a couple of times while still working with Willem, but I'm not sure if he's offering the course anymore. You should at least ask him maybe?
If Andy is willing to let you cup over at barefoot, I would definitely take advantage of that.
And Trish is kick ass. No doubt about it, so if you can get some training from her somehow that's great. She's not in the Bay Area, though. (She knows she always has a place to stay around here, though....)
