Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

We are a coffee shop located inside our church. At this point, we have only one location, but in the next 2-3 years, could add up to 3 more locations. Our hours are different than a typical coffee shop due to the nature of our business. Although I'm officially the manager, I act as the owner in most of the decisions regarding the coffee bar. I have helped in the planning of one of our new locations.

About Me:

I don't drink coffee! It's been a bit of an odd journey to where I am as manager of a coffee bar. I like to take on new challenges and this was one of them.

About My Company:

My company within a company is called Grounded. The church is Gateway Church, based in Southlake, TX. I have 8 part-time staff and 25-30 volunteers who rotate every other week. We are open for our weekend services (Sat. night and Sun morning), and for our evening youth and young adult meetings, as well as for some special events.
