This is a group for all of us who attend or exhibit at coffee fest. Many of us have met at the shows, look forward to each year and appreciate all the work that goes into what Coffee Fest offers.
I am proud to be the 13th member of an elite set of professionals that take time out of their busy schedules to participate, catch up and party like Coffee Rockstars at David's li'l shindig... Thanks for the invite, Matt!
Coffee fest is the best way to put a face to voice connection together. Plus leaving Coffee fest is a recharge that lights a fire underneath to be the best and offer quality product that corporate giants can not compete with.
Ah the memories! My first Coffeefest experience (Seattle) was in 1996/97 when the show was nothing more than a few dudes wiggin' out straight shots, wandering the floor in search of David Schomer (Vivace) and his fabled latte art demo. 12 years have passed now but I still visit every year (2008 was the first year I missed) and although some of us just keep getting older, the learning and education never stops. Keep up the good work! Thanks for the invite Matt!
Coffeefest, how fondly we think of thee! Hey Matty I guess I will see you in Hong Kong next week! We had to brave Hawaii earlier this year, I hope we can make it through this one. :0)
i've never felt like such a nerd, freaking out over all the great machines there, tasting tons of good espresso and all the great feedback. thanks for being so inclusive, everyone!
I LOVE COFFEE FEST!!! I had a total blast! It was the first time that I could really be around some geeks just like me! Even among the baristas that I work with I am a total dork and proud of it! :)
I enjoyed so much getting to meet people that I other wise only have seen through a small picture on the computer screen. I look forward to going to more and more of them, not just the one here in Seattle.
Next year I think it's a must that some mass concentration of baristas in one place needs to happen. perhaps an attempt at a world record or something. Most baristas in one place at the same time. I true statement of unity and expression of love for the game!
Thanks Matt, great idea! If anyone hasn't been to Coffee Fest yet, I totally recommend it! It was my first trade show back in 1994 with CoffeeTalk and I wouldn't miss one!
