Hello,

Does anyone have any information on VFA.  They do not seem to be in business anyone and need parts.  We have an unfortunate customer with three of them, two of which have been robbed to keep the third going.

Any insight would be great.

Thank you,  Chad

What the usefull life of a set of Mazzer Robur conical burrs? I was told it was 1,600 lbs. but just replaced them after 1,200 lbs. due to typical signs of burr fatigue. A bit disappointing but mainly need to know what to plan for. Please share.

I'm looking for insider information. I'm thinking of opening a mobile coffee company and I don't know what kind of machines I should look for. HELP!

Anyone care to share their experience with either the Kony-E or Mahlkonig K30 espresso grinders?

Joe - simply put, a paddle group is an addition to the grouphead that allows the barista to customize pre-infusion. Pre-infusion saturates the coffee with water before it goes under full brew pressure/extraction. It creates better shots generally speaking.

true that :) the Strada is est. Q2/summer 2010 by last account, so that's probably Q3-Q4 based on LM history.

Oh man Joe, we are going to have to take some field trips...

You need to get on a Slayer if you haven't yet, and a paddle group at least. The new LM Stradas are where it's at, though. (Not Hydra Coffeehorse... Hydra is Synesso and has been out for a while now) Do yourself a favor and start researching these things now Joe. (Any updates on the Strada anyone?)
