Summer Reading!!

Help!
School's out and I need some summer reading ASAP. My mind is already dying, haha. 

I'm looking for a memoir about being a barista...or a related industry...anyone know any good ones? Or good memoirs in general?

Or good books in general? :)

The Devil's Cup Is a really awesome coffee adventure book. You'll kill it in a day but enjoy every moment

"The Nordstrom Way" is a must, should be on any entrepreneurs required reading list.

I personally recommend Michael Ruhlman's "Soul of a Chef" and "Reach of a Chef." Both are excellent reads about the pursuit of excellence in the culinary field. Ruhlman gives unparalleled access into the minds and experience of some of the nation's best chefs and I think it's a great foundation for thinking about our barista craft.

Sadly, I haven't found a coffee-related book truly worth reading, or at least interesting to read.

If you're looking to set the tone for entrepreneurial enterprises later, I suggest reading "The E-Myth Revisited" by Michael Gerber.

"Espresso Coffee: Professional Techniques" this is a rilly good book on evrything esspresso... you can get it on esspressoparts.com its a fun and easy read and relitivly short along with well orgenized....

Setting The Table- Danny Meyer

The Culinaria series of books, France, Italy, Greece, Spain, each book is over 400 pages. Should keep you busy ;)

A Confederacy of Dunces by O'Toole is pretty spot on the New Orleans flavor.

Scott Rao's "Everything But Espresso." A great book on understanding proper brewing extraction.
