The Skidmore fountain building was where the first American Barista & Coffee School was located. I believe it is actually considered Portland's "Little Italy" ... glad to see that it is being brought back to life.

Ginger, is there a specific square footage dedicated for a coffee retail concept? Ground floor I assume?
Yes, the space is ground floor, great street front access and easy Max access. It is 1445 sq ft. and a really great space as well as being in the global headquarters of Mercy Corps. I think it is an amazing connection as many of the areas of the world that we are bringing our beans into the specialty coffee world from are the same areas Mercy Corps works in, pretty cool.
