I suggest contacting the lovely duo at Square Mile Coffee. They should have a rundown of the London scene and if they don't have them in stock, they will probably know where you can get one.

what is a balancing siphon coffee maker?
we are manufacturing something for filter coffee - but we are in Dublin....

The most beautiful of recent manufacture was the Royal from Belgium, which ceased production about 2 years ago. The Royal and its little brother, the Cafetino, still show up on Ebay.

You may have seen Jack Nickolson brewing coffee on a Royal in "The Bucket Shot."
