Regarding your syrup issue, it really depends on who your customer base is. My first cafe was located directly across from a high school and behind the community college. Those kids love their sugar drinks!! My new cafe is going into downtown Fresno and I'll have very few kids and more adults. I'm also going to market it as a more "classic cafe", which means I won't offer a cranberry/carmel latte. In fact, I'm seriously thinking of carrying only vanilla, hazelnut, carmel & orgeat. I hope this helps.

Just got the message you posted for me. As you can see I have been in business for awhile. Surprisingl, the way the economy is right now my business is doing well. We do a high volume of corporate catering which really helps. I haven't hit a road block I'm just looking for a change. We are open 7 days a week and I have 12 employees, so its more than a full time job. How is everything going with your first year?
