Hey Steve... Thanks for the comment/advice you left on the discussion I started. Hope you and Press are doing well! :)

There are several contibutions on the discussion, which you can access from my BX page. The contraption I devised involved the Yama tea siphon filter, which is a two piece filter, with an Astoria dispersion screen between the pieces. It all screws together with no alterations... the discussion gives various ways of trying to keep the cloth filters free of flavor taints, be it a dingy taste from a dirty filter of a synthetic taste from a detergent...
