Hey Mike,
How's it going? It looks like you have a pretty cool shop opened up. How large is your shop (sq. ft.) and what is the most common drink you guys sell? I hope business is going well for you guys. I worked at a tea shop in Portage, MI called Chocola-tea. They have a HUGE selection of loose leaf teas. I believe it is up to 170 now. It is a great place, just very slow...poor marketing and a poor location. Hopefully, things will change soon for them though.
Hey Mike! We are having a Latte Art Throwdown at JP's on Sunday and would love to see you guys there. Here's the link to sign up... http://throwdown.eventbrite.com/ Cheers!
Hey Dude! You ready for some goat? I'm going to do a little latte art throwdown Sunday, Sunday, SUNDAY! I've got a overly priced (like a hundred bucks) but really friggin sweet RB Tamp for the winner. You've got a good chance cuz there's only gonna be about 5 competitors (unless you bring a bunch of your staff and lower your chances which I hope you do!). I think this is gonna be the big one. Breakin' down the barriers, making things happen, freestyle.
Kurt
Hey! Hope your doing good Mike, Well i was in your shop last week and i just wanted to tell you that i like your shop. Now that i know where it is i probably with you another visit and hope this time i get to see you.
Dude, saw your comment on the west michigan coffee people page. This is something we could do as some low-production advertisement for the shop. Initially to boost bulk coffee sales (for the workplace) but it will also generate more foot traffic. We can talk about this later.
I had dreams last night of making the perfect rosetta and even invented one... it was a stegosaurus... that one will take a lot of practice but how cool would that be?!
HA! I like your optimism for Marty and myself. Thanks for the link, I'll check it out while working through my hangover today. Maybe I'll see you at the shop tonight when I punch in?
Good morning, Mike. No, I didn't strip it down personally. Looking back, I see I was misleading. I was ready to but Kurt got to it before I could. Kurt of Rowster Coffee on Cherry at Imagerie Gallery. Don't be afraid of it - just tear into it. For probably less than $250.00 you can refurbish the whole thing and have a great working machine. By the way, my wife loves your shop!
