Jon...... it's been stressful, but I guess better that than no action? I really want to return to SLC soon, and may do it just to escape SoCal. At CoffeeFest LV, I saw, (and drooled), over Dr. John's Malabar Gold booth "and" his GB5 2 group! As I remember, you scored a major deal on one of those? Anyway, I need to get back to a 58mm triple basket. Ever since experiencing your "in-house baked scones", I've been recommending and searching out other in-store baked items. At CFest there actually was a small "automatic pancake" machine! I saw some opportunity there, as you can fill the cakes with just about anything! And it looks very quick and economical. (regular and buckwheat flours are available.) See www.chefstack.com
Jon.......... so tell me some gud nuz! How's biz? I called Barefoot to find out if they had any espresso blends in green that they would sell for home use. I haven't heard back yet. I'm not expecting that many roasters would, but it is another possible profit center. The art of blending is as valuable as the art of roasting, and I was thinking that a roaster could put together some "generic" espresso blend, if that's even possible. The other side of all this is that a good roaster doesn't want to offer anything but the best, lest someone taste their blend after a home roaster "goofed it up"....... so to speak. Anyway, howz biz? And how is your better half? Getting any more "commercial accounts?"

how are things going? Not getting any sleep I bet!
Are you aware of any brewing coffee classes within the slc? I just moved down here from the Seattle area and I'm looking to kill time learning how to brew.
So I walk into Ritual and there is Drew wearing a Bevalo shirt...a KICK ASS! Bevalo shirt. It was awesome seeing you at Western Reginals, but how do I not get hooked up with one of these shirts? haha :)
