After a recent move to Tucson AZ from Seattle WA, I am currently working as a coffee roaster and manager at Caffe Luce.
I have been a barista, coffee roaster, and shop owner but find most joy behind my current SF25 roaster.
As a barista, I am skilled in extraction, advanced latte art and recipe development, cuppings and food pairings.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
As I have just made a rather large move, I am not currently interested in traveling to other countries, however, I would be interested in visiting any US city!
I am an artist (multiple mediums), an entrepreneur, and an overall visionary. I am painfully optimistic that anything can be achieved and am extremely passionate about my pursuits. I have spent the better part of 22 years within the coffee community. I have briefly left the industry but always find myself coming back to it. Being behind a machine is the closest thing I have found to truly feel like home.
About My Company:
I am currently working for a cafe with an owner that also has strong Seattle coffee roots. I am new to this company but it was like finding a piece of the city that shaped me (Seattle) here in my new community.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
My favorite thing about this industry is that it is ever-evolving. I am continually learning and it is an industry that combines both art and science! I also believe it happens to attract some incredibly passionate humans!
