If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I have some pretty sick coffee shop skills. Here are my favourite ones...
1. I can carry 4 full cups of coffee in my left hand when I waitress.
2. I can pour latte art.
3. I can make a chalk-board menu pretty damn attractive.
4. I'm awesome at guessing my customers' coffees before they even order- judged on their appearance.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Canada, USA, New Zealand and Africa to start with for fun get aways, then hopefully will live in Europe for a few years gettin my barista on over there.
When I'm not stuck behind the machine at work, you can find me in the tattoo shop spending my wages on ink and playing with my Dachshund Eddie (Named after Eddie Vedder)
About My Company:
I work in the CUTEST wine bar/ cafe in a tiny town called Newstead, there's also a pub and that's about it. We get surprisingly hectic there, we've built up a killer reputation (i'd like to think it's the coffee and their waitresses haha) but we are loved for our local wines.. 13 different wineries within a 1/2 an hourish radius. We use local and organic as much as possible which is a bit of a rarity so that's why people love us.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
The smells.. New characters everyday and their stories, the gossip (I'm in a very small town)
