If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
maybe
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
Since 2019, I’ve been traveling across South India and Western Canada, meeting farmers, baristas, roasters, equipment makers, and coffee lovers. I’m working in coffee shops, helping café owners as a consultant, hosting coffee tasting events, and training baristas along the way.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
My dream is to travel across all the countries within the Coffee Belt. Along the way, I’d love to work side by side with farmers and support producer teams with barista skills whenever they might find them useful. I also want to journal the incredible biodiversity that thrives in these coffee farms and share those stories. And of course, one of the most exciting parts for me is meeting fellow coffee people and building connections over the drink we all love.
About Me:
I’m a sustainable coffee specialist, and I truly believe the future of our industry depends on how we grow coffee. Monoculture farming and treating wildlife as pests won’t help us thrive—it only takes away from what makes coffee so special. But when coffee is cultivated in biodiversity-rich forest environments, it benefits everyone—farmers, producers, and coffee lovers alike. As both a nature conservationist and a coffee professional, I love sharing these stories with fellow coffee people over a cup of delicious coffee.
About My Company:
Climate Wave Coffee is a private coffee research institute and academy based in Victoria, BC, Canada. Through my company, we explore the global coffee value chain to understand today’s challenges and create practical solutions to address them. We also love bringing people together through tasting events, workshops, and courses where we share sustainable coffee skills and knowledge.
