I think the classes I got the most out of were those that Bruce Milleto taught. (Matt didn't to do bad of a job either.) Lots of info, which I am still processing.
I wish I could've made it to the party on Friday night - I was just so wiped out from traveling that I got to bed early.

Anyway, I loved the Fest and can't wait til I can make it to one of the next big events. Orgin Interviewtag:www.baristaexchange.com,2009-01-26:1688216:Topic:3096992009-01-26T21:39:47.635ZJoseph Robertsonhttps://www.baristaexchange.com/profile/JosephRobertson
Two questions:

1. Has any of those attending the Fest in Chicago has ever taken an orgin trip?

2. And out of those who have, anyone willing to sit down during the fest and talk about it?

I'm attempting to do a research paper for school about the affect the american coffee consumer has on individual farms and farmers. With the main thought focusing on Americans paying a fair price for their coffee so as to have positive influance at orgin.

And I guess I can add a third question,…

And I guess I can add a third question, anyone have any thoughts on where I can find other resources? I know I may be able to find a lot at the fest, but it doesn't hurt to throw the question out there.
Thanks!
