Today I found a La Pavoni Europiccola (circa '86) at a thrift shop for $10. Heating element and plumbing seam to work fine. Only problem is that it did not come with a portafilter or a basket. Found new portafilters (~$150) and baskets (~$25) for this machine online (Espresso Parts et al.), but I'm wondering if there are good sources for used parts either online or locally (I'm in DC area, but often in NYC). Even a general hunting direction would be appreciated.
