I've thought about that, and I think that using a french press is the way to go.<br />

Use a black tea at 212F, and assuming that the temp will drop, if you grind for a 2min. extraction, the temp should sync quite nicely for the coffee. So start with the black tea. After 3 min, add the coffee, gently agitate to saturate, and time for 2 min.<br />

I might also try a 2nd steep of a darker oolong, but run the coffee and tea at the exact same dwell time. (start and stop together)<br />

I know for me, we brewed a press of Yirg then used the coffee from that press instead of hot water for a press of Darjeeling. It tasted like weed. Straight up weed. We called it CannaBliss and, being that it was a student heavy shop, we sold out of 4 POUNDS OF TEA in like 7 hours.<br />
