I use to work on one of these. Are you using the single double buttons? I would never use those. You should just use the button where you can actually control when to start and stop the group head (I think its the center switch if i recall correctly, full cup picture). Use it as manually as you can.
As far as changing the actual time per dosage, well then that is a tricky one. Maybe you can contact faema?
