So, I've been thinking about a way to share cafe management tips and tricks, documents. etc. Wouldn't it be nice if we all had access to inventory documents, ordering sheets, scheduling spreadsheets, great ways to save money, training tests, checklists, or employee incentive plans? I think so. Any thoughts on how this might work?
Wow, thanks. That would great to look over. I'm not sure if Google Docs is the ideal means, however, it allows you to import, Word, Excel and PPT documents, then, edit them, share them with others, publish them to the web, or, as PDF's. You can also return to previously saved versions, or, discuss changes in real time chat using the whole google apparati. It has been very helpful as a storage place for us at the cafe. When I'm here, it's almost impossible to sit at the computer uninterrupted for more than 5 minutes to work on something like this, so, it allows me to make updates from multiple terminals without a storage transfer device and a bunch of confusing duplicate copies.
