After my Latte Art Workshop with Ellie Matuszak and Chris Deferio at the DC Coffee Fest, I give you this. My first "real" latte art. I have to give all the credit to Chris for helping it "click" for me.

Indeed. It looks like it helped you come a long way. (Chris is the MAN when it comes to getting latte art to "click".)

Here's one of mine. Attempted a fire-breathing dragon that looks more like a Pacman.

Question for all those amazing pourers out there: do you find you get more control with holding a pitcher by a handle or by the curve of the pitcher itself?

I'm not sure who you're referencing here, but I prefer to hold the pitcher by its handle. It allows control along with the natural flow of the milk to work together.
