It is the Linea that has electronic pre-infusion. The GB-5 uses Gicleur valves to achieve a slow infusion ramp up. You can get .07 mm, .06mm or .04mm, maybe more.

I believe the GB5 has an option in the electronics to turn on an electronic preinfusion. Electronic preinfusion means the water flow starts and stops but always at full pressure. Proggressive preinfusion is a gradual ramp up in pressure from 3 bar to 9.<br />

I believe the GB5 has an option in the electronics to turn on an electronic preinfusion. Electronic preinfusion means the water flow starts and stops but always at full pressure. Proggressive preinfusion is a gradual ramp up in pressure from 3 bar to 9.<br />
