All brewing equipment will be provided by Espresso Parts NW and La Marzocco USA! Everyone will be brewing the s ame coffee provided by Victrola. Just show up with your mad brewing sk ills! Of course, if you have your favorite -insert brewing device here - you can bring it to brew with!! And don’t worry you’ll have time to do a test run of your brew on our equipment before going into the competition!\n\nHere's how the brewing competition will work:\n\n1st R ound: Elimination by Hario V60\n\nThis will be a head to head eliminat ion round using Hario v60s only to brew. Each competitor will do 2 Har io pour overs of the same coffee using their own brew ratio & pouring technique.\nThey’ll serve to three blind judges who will pick the wi nner based on four categories: Best Representation of the Coffee/Overa ll Taste, Body, Acidity, and Sweetness.\n\nWinner moves on to finals.\ n\nFinals Round: Barista's Choice\n\nEach competitor will choose the b rew method they feel will best showcase the flavor of the coffee. They 'll be able to choose from Hario V60, French Press, Vacuum Pot, Chemex , Aeropress, and Clever Dripper. We will have butane burners for the V ac Pots, scales, thermometers, and a variety of filters. Also we’ll have the new Kone metal filter developed by Keith Gehrke of Coava Coff ee Roasters for pour-overs and the Coffee Catcher for French Press.\n\ nJudges will tally a score based on the tasting categories listed abov e and top score wins the competition!\n\nStill have questions?
