 in the United States Barista Championship (USBC). The USBC will take p
 lace in conjunction with the 23rd annual SCAA Exposition and Symposium
  in Houston, TX April 27th – May 1st 2011. There are three rounds of
  judging at the national event: the preliminary round, the semi-finals
 , and the finals. Competitors who advance to the finals will compete a
 gainst six of the most highly skilled baristas in the country for the 
 title of 2011 United States Barista Champion. The winner will represen
 t the United States at the World Barista Championship, which will be h
