DESCRIPTION:Bird Rock Coffee Roasters in La Jolla, California is hosti
 ng a challenge that will help customers change how they look at coffee
  brewing and it will time up with Coffee Fest, San Diego on June 3, 20
 11. This challenge will help not only the commoner know the difference
 s, but will hone the skills of all baristas participating. The challen
 ge takes place at Bird Rock Coffee Roasters, 5627 La Jolla Boulevard, 
 La Jolla, Ca 92037 on Friday, June 3rd at 5:00 p.m. It is free and ope
 n to the public.\n \n \n \nEight Southern California roasters and 1
 6 Southern California baristas will participate, and each roaster will
  contribute one coffee. Baristas will be randomly paired to form teams
  of two to collaborate and find the best extraction for their particul
 ar coffee and brew method and then present their brewed cup to the jud
 ges.\n \nOnce the beans are revealed to the baristas, they will then 
 be given a randomly chosen brew method: Chemex, Clever Coffee Dripper,
  and the AeroPress. The Baristas, then, must collaborate to come up wi
 th grind size, coffee and water ratio and pour-over technique to produ
 ce one 10-12 oz serving of brewed coffee. \n \nJudges, then, would a
 nalyze the brewed product and provide feedback not only on the coffee
