- Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills and what you can offer in regards to an exchange.
- We bring in coffee direct from our farm in Zimbabwe and roast it on site for our cafe and growing wholesale business. We also like discovering great coffees from other origins, and are particularly interested in trading our coffee with other farmers' coffee. There are a growing number of farmer-direct coffee roasters and cafes in the U.S.
- What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
- France, Italy and northern India. Alaska and Hawaii are on the list as well.
- About Me:
- Before I met my husband, the coffee farmer, for 8 years I was an organizational learning consultant, helping companies design education and training programs for their employees. I helped train the first American Peace Corps volunteers in Mozambique, trained members of the Mozambican National Language Institute on designing workplace-specific language programs (created a certification program for them), and worked for numerous companies, NGO's and colleges.
Now I love everything in the coffee industry from the growing of coffee, to roasting and pulling shots.
