What is your position in the coffee industry?: barista

Where are you located? ( City and Country ): Grand Rapids, MI

How many years have you been in the industry?: 6 years

If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?: maybe

Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills and what you can offer in regards to an exchange.: I've only been doing coffee for the past 6 years, but in that time, I have managed a couple of shops. Truthfully, though, I love making coffee (drip/vac/French Press/Aeropress), pulling great shots, and pleasing the customer more than just about anything else I do.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?: I would love to travel - would be able to do regional trips (Illinois, Ohio, Indiana) - given the right timing.

About Me:: For me life is about Coffee and Congas - and I find the two similar. The rhythm of pulling shots in a decent shop is like dropping in to a great song. I'm happily married to a law student (a feat in and of itself). I plan on having my own shop to present coffee in it's proper context as soon as I learn enough about the other aspects of the business.

About My Company:: I've worked in a series of valiant efforts.

Yes, we do advanced training. Depending on what exactly you are looking for either myself or Alex, our trainer could come to your location or you could schedule it here. We can adapt our 1 day advanced class to whatever focus fits you.
