What is your position in the coffee industry?: barista, barista trainer, home barista, coffee enthusiast, industry professional

Where are you located? ( City and Country ): Seattle, WA

How many years have you been in the industry?: 1 year

If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?: yes

Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills and what you can offer in regards to an exchange.: Well, I work at Trabant Coffee and Chai in Seattle, WA. I am currently training for the NWRBC. I'm really excited and can't wait! I was trained by Chris Baca, Andy Newbom and the Barefoot Coffee Staff. In retrospect, Baca was the man that sparked my interest in the professional aspect of specialty coffee. I am originally from California (moved Feb. of '08) and am excited to be in Seattle.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?: I'm in Seattle and would love to jump around to other coffee shops and just be a guest barista there to get a hands-on education on varying techniques and theories. Let me know if you're interested. I also will be traveling through Northern California a lot, and would love to jump on a bar around there too.

About Me:: I would like to compete somewhere down the road...hopefully a short road.

1. I'm completely and devastatingly broke.

2. If I rolled into work with my own tamp I would look like a total asshole. Especially if it was accompanied by a set of smaller pitchers, which, even before Jeff stated so, I realized we desperately need.
