Great question!

When using rice to clean your grinder, it carries the risk of locking up the motor as it passes through and is turned into a fine powder (it also can break down into uneven particles that can get stuck in the burrs and motors). The hardness and shape of Grindz™ prevents this from happening. Using rice to clean your grinder also leaves a starchy residue on the inner mechanics of a grinder that is difficult to remove and may eventually require disassembly. While Grindz™ will leave some dust in your grinder, it is harmless and can be easily purged or brushed out.

Does that help? Let us know if anyone else out there has had any experiences that support this or say otherwise!

We were talking about Grindz vs. Instant Rice and wondering what is better about Grindz.
Can Urnex explain the advantages?

This button on my linea doesn't work. I need to hold the button down in order to extract a shot. Any tips on this? Is there a way to fix it or do I need a replacement?

I'll be down at the SCAA convention ( world coffee blowout) in a couple of weeks so I will stop at the Nuova S. booth and see if they can help me.

Fraser,
I can't tell you how many pdf manuals I have downloaded over the years. That is what confused me when I did (what I thougt) was a comprehensive search for one and just was or is not there. Could very well be because it is somewhat new. Thanks for the direction and thought though.
