The choice between two grinders.

La Pavoni Compak K10 conical grinder
OR
La Pavoni Zip Coffee Grinder (http://coffeestuff.com/lapazipcogr1.html)

Which would you prefer and why?
The reason I ask is I have already bought and paid for a 'cafe in a box' from crossroads... (well two actually). Our original order indicated K10 conical and when the receipt was sent it showed a Zip... I have confirmation via e-mail that we will receive the K10 if that is what we want.
We are ABCs trained but have not had any other hands on... which should we request?

Permalink Reply by nik orosi on May 10, 2008 at 12:46pm: you have k30 in stepless version too, in any way, k10 is great but to work in a shop, daily use, 500 cups lets say!? i just dont know, i will never chose to work with in that way. competition is one thing, shop another. in both ways, quality must be the same but i run my own caffe, and its easier to work with k30. once more, its not the best grinder, but its most effective in working heavy surrounding's in my opinion... robur mazzer is great in every way. super joly i found as for 'wanna be a barista' kind of grinder. and i hate containers for ground coffee, and when i see that stupid kind of tamper that is connected (hooked) on a grinder, i am able to kill...; ▶ Reply to This
