Does anyone do, or has anyone seen free pour cafe au let art? I dont have a steam wand for milk at home so I haven't been able to try it. I'm looking into opening a coffee brew bar without an espresso machine and would still like to aesthetically beautiful drinks likened to latte art. Any ideas? Is anyone doing anything artsy with drip-brewed coffee drinks? Thanks. -Cash c[_]

Yeah, it's been done. You need to spoon off any bubbles that are sitting on top of the coffee, but after that, it's just like pouring into a hot chocolate.

I don't know where you're going to get a good steam wand that doesn't come on an espresso machine though.
Thanks James. I don't know where to find a steam wand either James, bought one about 10 - 15 years ago for a friend and haven't tried searching for one yet. - Cash c[_]

Thanks Ricky, I'll try that. - Cash (_)o

Making an "au lait" with french pressed coffee has been much more successful than any other brewing process. There's more contrast so your pour is more highlighted.
