I was roasting in a Probat 5kgs in Brazil. We usually drpped the beans at 320F and would go down and pick up around 195F-200F and end roasting in 15 minutes at 424F. I bought an Akaneks 5kgs and did my first roasting starting at 266F. The temp drop down to 46F! I ended the roast around 340F and it took more than 30 minutes. My second roast (different day) I dropped at 338F, the temp went down to 78F and ended the roast in 30 minutes at 350F. This was the digital thermometer that reads the drum temperature. The analog thermometer in the airflow gauge, stayed between 200F and 380F. can someone explain me if I am doing omething wrong? Thank you appreciate. Does someone has an Akaneks that can help me with some tips? Thank you!
