Hey CoffeeGeek Community.

Happy to post our own personal Chemex recipe. Hope this can help. Cheers.

You'll Need:
Chemex®
Crucial Coffee Reusable Filter
Grinder
Kettle
Gram Scale
Timer

  • Fill your kettle with water and bring to 205F.
  • Adjust your grinder to a fine, or medium setting. You may have to play with the settings depending on your coffee grinder, grinds, and humidity. Medium setting is ideal based on previous brews on our end.
  • Measure & grind 24g of whole coffee beans.
  • Pre-wet your filter & Chemex®
  • Put the ground coffee into the filter. Place the entire unit onto your scale and tare to 0.
  • Start your timer & add 100g of water. Allow the coffee to bloom for 30 seconds.
  • When the timer hits the 1 minute, take your water weight up to 400g, pouring in a circular motion.
  • Your Chemex® should finish draining within 4 minutes. Pour and enjoy your coffee!

Happy brewing everyone!
