That would be so cool to see something like that. All we have here is rain and more rain. Although if it was to snow 1" here the whole country would stop. Enjoy your Xmas. DM

Hi Liz, Sorry about the delay in replying. Was on holidays. Weather in Ireland - hmmmm at the moment we have so much rain it is unbelievable. Was looking at your profile. Our top customer is a chocolate/coffee company as well. Lucky you to be in such beautiful work surroundings. Would guess that you would eventually get fed up of chocolate after a while. Anyway very little about me - 5 years in coffee, extremely techie & geekie, work mainly on innovations for my company, national barista judge, love coffee especially ristretto. Thats it. Hope to hear from you. DM

Here is the blog address for indonesian Monggo Chocolate. http://www.chocolatemonggo.blogspot.com/ I do note it has not been updated for a while! "Monggo" is actually a Javanese message meaning something like "go ahead- enjoy"

There are a lot of chocolates made here, but most are not that fantastic. There is one called "Monggo" chocolate, that is apparently made by a Belgium expat living in Java that is good, although it is pricier than the other local products. I will try and find the details for you. Yes, the Indo coffee origins are great. You have soooo many sub-origins and growing regions- all very different. American consumers know the stock ones- Java (generally East), Aceh, Lintong, Mandehling and Toraja- but we also have great arabica coming out of Indonesian Papua, Bal, Flores, Indonesian Timor and other parts of the vast country

HI! Wow I'm excited you wrote me a comment! I love single origin coffee and cacao from Indonesia. I have the Cacao pod up because I work in a specialty chocolate shop. My favorite coffee shop roasts single origin beans from Indonesia I love the earthy qualities as well as the full body of Indonesia coffee. I'm pretty unfamiliar with single origin chocolate though. If you have any suggestions of a single origin bar or brand I will try to get it into our shop. We are having a single origin kick right now

Hi Liz, seems you are getting a lot of International Greetings! I am a coffee roaster in Indonesia. We do not do anything with chocolate, but everywhere I go looking at coffee I see Cacao trees growing. I think Indonesia is the 3rd biggest Cocoa/Cacao producer behing Ivory Coast and the Congo.
