Yeah, we've got the Beloya all figured out. It's not as good as PT's, but better than the stuff from Black Sheep. However, we have a bunch of Ethiopia Amaro Gayo which, in pretty much everyone's opinion at Bull Run, is better than the Beloya. We're still have not opened, which is quite frustrating; but we're told the space will be ready for opening on Tuesday. We should have our online store operational right around that time as well. A lot of craziness around here as of late...
Thanks for your virtual friendship and great advice! Ironically, the folks I work for would rather buy the very expensive naked portafilters! DIY is a little too renegade for them. HAH!
It went alright. We're still working on the final roast profiles. The grand opening is still a little in the air, we're waiting on some equipment... I'll let you know when it's happening though.
Obviously a west coast website. The time should read 4:16. I get up at four most mornings. If this site promotes the glamorous side of the coffeehouse phenonemon, then I am living proof of the harsh reality of ownership.

Thanks for introducing yourself; we'll have plenty to chat about. More later...

Depending on the roaster I can unequivocally say Hell Yes. Especially in this economy. He asked, I crunched the numbers. It hurts the bottom line and my own struggle to keep my doors open but I just gave a struggling wholesale cafe customer a tempor…
Well I have been using a 2 group Nuova Simonelli Aurelia auto daily for about 4 months and it is the bomb for me. A new one is out of that price range, but I have seen nice used ones priced OK. I'm sure there are lots of good commercial machines out…

So I'm in Chicago right now, very reminiscent of Coffee Fest...oh, and I'm going to The Violet Hour tonight with Tyler...
Time to make the donuts, as they say.
Thanks for introducing yourself; we'll have plenty to chat about. More later...
